Texas Orthopedic Surgeon Honored by the AMA

James T. Baker, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Texas, has been honored by the American Medical Association as a recipient of the 2010 Physician’s Recognition Award, according to a report by Newstreamz San Marcos.

The PRA honors physicians who demonstrate their commitment to staying current in their medical specialties by participating in continuing medical education activities, according to the report.

Dr. Baker is a graduate of Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
