- Augustus Mazzocca, MD, was appointed as the first medical director of sports medicine at Boston-based Mass General Brigham. He will also serve as the director of the bioskills, biomechanics and cell biology laboratories within the orthopedic surgery department at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
