Rome Health, Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists expand access to joint replacements

Rome (N.Y.) Health is partnering with Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists to expand access to joint replacements in the community, The Oneida Daily Dispatch reported July 1.

Four joint replacement surgeons from Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists — Stephen Bogosian, MD; Max Greenky, MD; Kevin Kopko, MD; and Anthony Orio, MD — will work with the health system’s team at Rome Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists said it focuses on evidence-based protocols to better manage pain, reduce the risk of complications and provide the best outcomes for patients.

The independent group has 27 physicians and 12 locations, according to its website.
