Dr. Kharrazi performed the procedure at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, the report said. The knee surgery was intended to “clean up loose debris” in Mr. Birch’s right knee.
Mr. Birch is expected to be ready for training camp in September, the report said.
