Dr. Boulos graduated from Albany Medical College in 1994 and is the third alumnus to be named dean, according to a May 9 news release. He has worked at Albany Med since 2002 and was named chief of neurosurgery in 2009. His practice focuses on cerebrovascular disorders of the brain and spine.
In his new role, he will oversee the work of more than 2,000 staff members and more than 500 physicians.
