Telehealth company adds musculoskeletal services

Telehealth provider Amwell added services including musculoskeletal care, the platform said April 20.

Amwell’s musculoskeletal program is designed to relieve challenges with physical therapy access, disruptions in productivity and costs, according to a news release. Components include a custom physical therapy plan, virtual coach visits and a digital sensor kit for guided exercises.

Amwell also added a dermatology program. The company provides telehealth for more than 2,000 hospitals and 55 health plan partners, the release said.
