Mr. Guerra had Tommy John surgery on his right arm April 13 at Texas Metroplex Institute Surgical Center in Arlington. The procedure was completed without complications.
A timetable for the pitcher’s recovery was not reported, but Mr. Guerra is expected to be out for the entire 2022 season.
