New York hospital names orthopedic chair

Adam Bitterman, DO, is Huntington (N.Y.) Hospital’s new orthopedic department chair, Huntington Now reported March 29.

Dr. Bitterman is a foot and ankle surgeon and an assistant professor of orthopedics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine in New York City. He joined the hospital in 2016.

“I am excited about continuing to raise the bar at Huntington Hospital, from clinical growth to the enhancement of efficiency and safety,” Dr. Bitterman said in the report. “I’ve been fortunate to work at Huntington Hospital for six years and I look forward to continuing to build on the achievements we’ve made and I’m excited for what we will create in the future.”
