South Dakota orthopedic practices form 38-physician group

The Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics & Spine in Dakota Dunes, S.D., and Sioux City, S.D.-based Tri-State Specialists have consolidated under the CNOS name, The Sioux City Journal reported March 14.

Three details:

1. The Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics & Spine was formed through the merger of three practices in 1999. Its specialties include spine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, sports medicine and plastic surgery. 

2. Tri-State Specialists, previously known as Tri-State Orthopaedic Physicians, has a roster of surgeons in various specialties, including neurology, sports medicine, pain management, dermatology and physical therapy.

3. The affiliation was completed Jan. 3. The combined practice has 38 physicians and 26 locations, according to its website.
