Delaware hospital’s $125M surgical hospital to employ 5 orthopedic surgeons

Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare is planning to open its $125 million surgical hospital in May, Delaware Business Times reported March 14.

The hospital in Rehoboth Beach, Del., will employ 150 people, including five orthopedic surgeons. Other specialists will include breast surgeons and bariatric surgeons.

The facility will have four operating rooms, 24 private patient rooms and 18 patient bays. It is also expected to feature robotic surgery, according to the report.
