Mr. Melkent will be NanoMag’s vice president of product development and quality, according to a March 10 news release. He has more than 25 years of experience in the orthopedic and spine markets.
He has spent the majority of his career at Medtronic, where he led the commercialization of dozens of spine products. He also served as a senior product development engineer at Smith+Nephew and senior director of product development at Wright Medical, according to LinkedIn.
