Three things to know:

1. The facility will be 20,000 square feet and treat patients and student-athletes at the university.

2. The center will be equipped with sports medicine services, two X-ray suites, an MRI machine and an ultrasound procedure room.

3. It will be part of the university’s larger County Materials Complex, the construction on which is expected to break ground in spring. Work on Mayo Clinic’s space is expected to begin in November, according to the Leader-Telegram.
