Tennessee orthopedic practice expands with acquisition

Brentwood, Tenn.-based 7 Springs Orthopedics acquired Hendersonville, Tenn.-based Sport Ortho Urgent Care.

The company will assume the name Sport Ortho Urgent Care and is now one of the largest orthopedic providers in the state, according to a Jan. 18 news release. It has 14 locations in Tennessee and may expand in additional states.

“I could not be more excited to join … the 7 Springs Orthopedics team,” Charles Kaelin, MD, founder of Sport Ortho Urgent Care, said in a news release. “In times like these, when the need to protect the vulnerable is at an all-time high, there has never been a greater need for exclusively orthopedic care centers with qualified practitioners, like Sport Ortho offers.”
