3 orthopedic practice deals in 7 days

In the first week of 2022, orthopedic practices were quick to ink partnerships and mergers.

Here are three deals to know:

1. Cincinnati-based management services organization OrthoAlliance inked a partnership with New Albany, Ohio-based JIS Orthopedics. The partnership adds eight physicians and two central Ohio locations to OrthoAlliance’s network.

2. Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital, an independent hospital in Springfield, affiliated with Columbus-based OhioHealth and Dayton-based Premier Health, which will both share ownership in the facility with 35 physicians.

3. Lincoln (Neb.) Orthopaedic Center and Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine merged into a 24-physician entity.
