Health IT Funding for 40 Rural Health Networks Tops $11.9M

Forty rural healthcare providers are receiving more than $11.9 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to implement health IT, according to an HHS news release.

The grant money, from HHS’ Health Resources and Services Administration, will help rural health networks adopt electronic health records and qualify for EHR incentive payments.
