Dr. Laurencin is a professor and Van Dusen Distinguished Endowed Professor of orthopedic surgery at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He received his medical degree from and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
He will be the sixth new independent director of Alkermes’ board since 2019.
