The artist didn’t reveal specifics about the procedure or why she needed it, but said she will have to use crutches for the next six weeks.
“I have to say thank you to everyone at The Steadman Clinic in Vail and Dr. Philippon for taking such good care of me,” she said. “Because I’m married to an athlete who has hundreds of surgeries, I get to meet some of the world’s greatest doctors.”
Her husband, motocross rider Carey Hart, underwent a lower spine disc replacement in September, according to a Yahoo News report.
Robert Bray, MD, CEO of DISC Sports & Spine Center in Newport Beach, Calif., performed the surgery on Mr. Hart.
