Performance Orthopedics and Spine launched in Jacksonville, Fla., in 2020 through a collaboration between Ascension and HOPCo., according to a Nov. 2 news release. The program is designed to provide patients with personalized, cost-effective musculoskeletal care and has expanded across northwest Florida.

“We are honored to continue working to build the next generation of transformative musculoskeletal care for patients across Florida,” Wael Barsoum, MD, president and chief transformation officer at HOPCo., said in the release. “We began with this model with Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville and the response has been overwhelming.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
