Lori Funari, former vice president of physician practice management for Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, stayed in the orthopedics industry. She was named COO of Spire Orthopedic Partners, a management services organization. At HSS, she played a key role expanding its presence in Florida.

Troy Simonson, who was CEO of Golden Valley, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics from 2013-20, widened his breadth. He was named CEO of Proliance Surgeons and will continue to lead Revo Health.

At Twin Cities Orthopedics, he helped grow the practice to more than three dozen locations, 114 physicians and almost 1,700 employees. Proliance Surgeons has more than 450 providers that serve 800,000 patients a year across 100 locations in Washington state.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
