South Dakota orthopedic group to open clinic in Minnesota

Orthopedic Institute, a physician group based in Sioux Falls, S.D. will open another location in Minnesota, the Pipestone County Star reported Oct. 19.

The new facility in Pipestone, Minn., will open Nov. 1. The physician group previously operated through Pipestone County Medical Center until the contract ended. The business will have three rooms and a digital X-ray room.

Jeffrey Kalo, DO, and Gregory Alvine, MD, will work out of the new office.

Orthopedic Institute was founded in 1972. It has 16 satellite locations in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.
