Wisconsin orthopedic practice partners to help reduce workers’ healthcare costs

Green Bay, Wis.-based Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists will participate in a workers compensation bundled payments program, according to an Oct. 12 news release.

The move is expected to provide employers access to all-inclusive pricing for orthopedic care. Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists established bundled pricing for orthopedic surgeries and diagnostics common for injured workers, including carpal tunnel release and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair.

The workers compensation bundled payments program is a national program created to address employer concerns about healthcare costs for injured workers.
