Texas’ Covenant Health System to Open New Orthopedic Unit

Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant Health System will open its remodeled orthopedic unit on Aug. 29, according to a health system news release.

The unit includes 30 beds and a new gym facility with equipment designed specifically for orthopedic patients. The unit also offers a program called Joint Ranch, which includes a preoperative educational class, group therapy and rehabilitation for hip and knee replacement patients.
