He holds three roles at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation: director of clinical research and outcomes, co-director of the musculoskeletal research center and professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Dr. Spindler has contributed to more than 600 presentations and peer-reviewed articles.
In the field of sports medicine, he served on National Football League committees including the Safety Council, NFL Charities grant review committee, the Musculoskeletal committee and the Research and Innovation committee.
Dr. Spindler succeeds Michael Ciccotti, MD, who was the AOSSM’s 49th president.
