5 orthopedic practice partnerships in the past month

From a new musculoskeletal platform in Nevada to an orthopedic group joining a New Jersey health system, here are five orthopedic partnerships that made headlines in the past month:

1. Active Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, an 11-physician group in Hackensack, N.J., joined Berkeley Heights, N.J.-based Summit Health.

2. Reno-based Spine Nevada teamed with Phoenix-based Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company to develop a musculoskeletal platform.

3. Beaumont (Texas) Bone and Joint Institute, a 16-physician practice, partnered with Christus Family Medicine to open a facility in Port Arthur.

4. Carmel, Ind.-based Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine partnered with Indianapolis-based Ascension St. Vincent on a neurosurgical hospital.

5. Orthopaedic Associates of Wausau (Wis.) and Wausau Surgery Center broke ground on a shared medical center that will include an ASC with two operating rooms.
