He’s also director of the hospital’s Crawford Spine Center, and he specializes in spine deformity, scoliosis and pediatric orthopedics. His research interests include spinal deformity and early onset scoliosis.
Dr. Sturm became interested in medicine as a child when he had surgery. He became interested in spine surgery and scoliosis while attending medical school at New York University School of Medicine.
