6 recent exec moves at device companies

Here are six executive appointments from spine and orthopedic device companies in the last two months.

1. Juliet Cunningham was named vice president of investor relations at spine device company NuVasive.

2. Hijaz Haris, a former Medtronic executive, has joined medical device company NeuroOne as vice president of marketing.

3. Foot and ankle surgeon Greg Berlet, MD, was appointed CMO of MedShape, an orthopedic device company in Atlanta.

4. Spine-focused medical technology company Surgalign has named Marc Mackey as executive vice president of digital surgery.

5. Matt Tharp was named CFO of Holt, Mich.-based Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, an orthopedic implant manufacturing company.

6. Zimmer Biomet named Ivan Tornos, its group president of global businesses and the Americas, as COO.
