1. Former Medtronic executive Vafa Jamali was appointed CEO of NewCo, Zimmer Biomet’s spinoff spine and dental business.

2. Three orthopedic device companies were named on Forbes’ “America’s best large employers” list for 2021. The companies were New Brunswick, N.J.-based Johnson & Johnson; Marlborough, Mass.-based Boston Scientific and Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Stryker.
