“We are proud to honor Dr. Hanna with the Garrett Award, a testament to his many talents that mirror those of our founder, Dr. John C. Garrett,” Alex Bateman, CEO of the practice, said in a Feb. 4 news release.

Dr. Hanna is a total joint specialist who practices at Resurgens Orthopaedics’ Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital location in Sandy Springs, Ga.

The practice was founded in 1986 by John Garrett, MD. In 1999, seven independent physician groups merged to form one practice under the existing name of Resurgens Orthopaedics.
