Spinal implant registry, credentialing system launches in US

Imperium Surgical Partners and healthcare consultant MedWell Solutions have launched Bodi, a spinal implant and credentialing system.

The registry aims to help surgeons and hospitals:

  • Locate surgical tools and devices
  • Identify and plan for the lifecycle of implants and devices
  • Track model numbers, serial numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates and order information
  • Outline manufacture-specific instructions for use

Bodi is the only spinal implant database in the U.S. that adheres to guidelines from the CDC, HHS, FDA and the Joint Commission, according to a Feb. 2 news release.
