“Volta car-charging stations are part of our ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future for healthcare,” Scott Boden, MD, director of the Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center, said in a Dec. 10 news release.
The eco-friendly building will focus on reducing water runoff, light pollution, energy consumption and carbon footprint.
Spanning 180,000 square feet, the center will feature 72 exam rooms, six operating rooms and four procedure rooms. It will also house a surgery center, office space, a research facility and a conference center.
