$23M+ office with orthopedic center opens at Vermont hospital

Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 19 for a 37,000-square-foot medical office that houses the Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic, Vermont Business Magazine reports.

Three things to know:

1. Melbourne Boynton, MD, serves as medical director of Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic, which has a team of 10 physicians, according to its website.

2. The $23.9 million expansion also houses Rutland Regional’s physiatry, ENT and audiology service lines. 

3. The hospital broke ground on the expansion in April 2019. The opening was set for June, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
