Three things to know:

1. OsseoGen is a dimethyl sulfoxide-free product, which eliminates the need to rinse and decant the tissue before implantation. It is delivered through an open-bore syringe.

2. OsseoGen takes about half the time to thaw, compared to other cellular bone matrixes currently available, according to the company.

3. Biologica’s debut product, ProteiOS, was launched for orthopedics and neurosurgery in 2015. The growth factor comprises allogenic bone marrow and can be used with the surgeon’s choice of scaffold or matrix.
