$15M Emory spine, orthopedic center at Atlanta Falcons complex on track for December completion

The Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center at the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons’ Flowery Branch (Ga.) facility is expected to finish construction in mid-December, The Gainesville Times reports.

Physicians have been recruited and are ready to begin practicing at the center when it opens.

Spanning 29,000 square feet, the $15 million facility will treat Falcons players as well as the general public.

The center is expected to open in early January, Scott Boden, MD, chair of the department of orthopedics at Emory, told The Times.
