Dr. Paley is medical director of the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center & Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Part of the NuVasive Specialized Orthopedics portfolio, the Precice Plate aims to provide internal lengthening while avoiding damage to growth plates.

The implant stretches newly forming bone to a targeted length over several months and is removed once the desired bone length is achieved.

NuVasive is planning a full commercial launch in the U.S. and Europe in early 2021.
