Campbell Clinic CEO announces retirement, successor

George Hernandez will retire as CEO of Memphis-based Campbell Clinic Jan 1, 2021, Memphis Business Journal reports.

Four things to know:

1. Since 2010, he has operated as CEO of the practice, where he previously served as CFO.

2. CFO Daniel Shumate will succeed Mr. Hernandez. Campbell Clinic is searching for a new CFO.

3. Under Mr. Hernandez’s leadership, Campbell Clinic’s gross revenue increased from $159 million in 2010 to $304 million in 2019.

4. Campbell Clinic has more than 600 employees, including 50 physicians, and operates five clinics and two surgery centers.
