Dr. Adam Kessler joins Freeman Health System

Joplin, Mo.-based Freeman Health System has appointed orthopedic traumatologist Adam Kessler, DO, NBC affiliate fourstateshomepage.com reported Aug. 11.

Dr. Kessler will treat patients with articular fractures and pelvis and hip socket injuries at Freeman’s emergency department.

Earlier this month, he graduated from the orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine, where he trained under David Seligson, MD.

Dr. Kessler completed his orthopedic residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich., and previously served as a battalion physician assistant for the U.S. Army.
