Dr. Rolando Garcia elected to Florida Orthopaedic Society

Rolando Garcia, MD, was elected to the Florida Orthopaedic Society’s board of directors to represent the South Florida region.

Dr. Garcia began his term July 9 during the society’s virtual annual meeting. He will serve a three-year term.

He is an orthopedic surgeon at Aventura, Fla.-based Orthopedic Care Center, where he’s practiced for 23 years. He is the past chief of orthopedic surgery at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

“I am honored to have been selected as a regional representative by my peers,” said Dr. Garcia. “In this role, I aim to give back to this wonderful profession and contribute my knowledge as an orthopaedic surgeon so that we may continue to advance the science of orthopaedic medicine in Florida.”
