Dr. Yarboro specializes in orthopedic trauma and serves as director of orthopedic quality at UVA.
A regular presenter at conferences across the country, Dr. Yarboro is active in research areas such as infection prevention, ankle ligament injury and advanced imaging. He has helped furnish several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
Dr. Yarboro completed medical school and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He went on to complete one fellowship at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill and two in Germany.
