James Andrews, MD, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, released a series of steps young athletes should use as they return to sports.

Jennifer Bruggers, MD, and Gary Stewart, MD, of Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics, were elected members of the American Orthopaedic Association.

Theresa Lynn Colosi, MD, a Bay Area orthopedic surgeon charged in the attempted murder of a social worker, was sued by the social worker for injuries she allegedly sustained in a December attack.

Charles Pesson, MD, joined the medical staff at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Ky.
