2 hospitals expanding spine programs

Here are two hospitals that are expanding or planning to expand spine programs this month:

North Platte, Neb.-based Great Plains Health will open its brain and spine center June 22, becoming the first hospital to offer cranial neurosurgery services in the region.

A multispecialty ASC primarily focusing on spine and orthopedics is planned for the Crestwood Medical Center campus in Huntsville, Ala., according to a recent filing with the Alabama State Health Planning and Development Agency.
