10 best hospitals for pediatric neurosurgery: US News ranking

U.S. News & World Report ranked 50 pediatric hospitals for the treatment of serious neurological conditions such as epilepsy, head trauma and brain tumors.

The 2020-21 rankings, released June 15, were largely based on survival rates at each hospital after complex surgery, complications and infection prevention, as well as the availability of specialized epilepsy treatment and rehabilitation.

Here are the top 10 hospitals for pediatric neurology and neurosurgery:

1. Boston Children’s Hospital
2. Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston)
3. Children’s National Hospital (Washington, D.C.)
4. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
5. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
6. Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, Ohio)
7. St. Louis Children’s Hospital
8. Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (Palo Alto, Calif.)
9. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
10. Children’s Hospital Colorado (Aurora)
