Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center to open clinic in new space

Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center moved its clinic in Gardendale, Ala., to a new space, in response to high demand for services.

The clinic will open June 1 in a 9,563-square-foot building that Andrews renovated. Andrews and ATI Physical Therapy occupy 5,323 square feet in the clinic.

Jay Umarvadia, MD, will see continue to see patients in the new location. Dr. Umarvadia is a nonsurgical sports medicine clinician. He treats pediatric and adult patients and serves as a team clinician for several area high schools.

The Gardendale clinic is currently accepting patient appointments.
