Pennsylvania health system opens virtual orthopedic injury center

Bethlehem, Pa.-based Coordinated Health on April 20 launched a virtual orthopedic injury center to provide care to patients, while reducing exposure to COVID-19.

Three things to know:

1. Orthopedic specialists are being made available via telemedicine visits performed via phone or video.

2. Patients who require further care will be directed to the closest injury center or emergency room if necessary.

3. Coordinated Health was acquired by Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network, in December, with Amy Nyberg installed as the system’s president.
