Dr. Christensen specializes in minimally invasive vertebral augmentation via balloon kyphoplasty, minimally invasive cervical and lumbar fusions and disc replacements.
Previously, he served as chief of spine surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii and as a spine surgery consultant to the U.S. Air Force surgeon general.
Dr. Christensen graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, before completing a residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland and a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
His professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society and the Idaho Medical Association.
