O’Fallon, Mo.-based Mercy has adjusted operations and aims to make visits virtual for 95 percent of patients at its Arkansas hospitals and clinics, according to CBS affiliate KFSM-TV.

Four notes on Mercy locations during the COVID-19 crisis:

1. Mercy Clinic Orthopedics and Mercy Clinic Podiatry, both in Fort Smith, Ark., are accepting walk-in patients five days a week.

2. Mercy Clinic Orthopedics in Rogers, Ark., is accepting acute injury patients referred by primary care physicians.

3. Mercy hospitals in Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas are opening temporary triage spaces near emergency room entrances.

4. The system established dedicated clinics for those with suspected respiratory illnesses to protect other susceptible patients.
