The woman was an employee on her way to work at the surgery center.
The attacker hit the woman in the back of the head, inflicting a 2-inch wound, and stole her purse, according to police.
Police located the alleged attacker in a getaway car with the victim’s ID and cards.
He was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, concealing stolen property and robbery with a firearm.
