By treating patients at these facilities, the practice aims to ease the burden on emergency rooms and urgent care centers, where the likelihood of patients acquiring and spreading COVID-19 is higher.

The Arlington, Fair Oaks, Reston, Fairfax and Springfield facilities, all located in Virginia, will treat urgent orthopedic conditions.

OrthoVirginia will also continue to provide telemedicine services.

Patients will be screened for COVID-19 before entering each facility.
