Mountain West Medical Center is coordinating care with physicians from Tooele Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Specialists as well as NorthPointe Surgical Center in Tooele. The orthopedic practice and ASC are both volunteering their facilities and services.
Mountain West Medical Center is also implementing a drive-thru screening process and utilizing telehealth capabilities. The 44-bed hospital “has run extensive drills every year preparing for situations like this,” which is helping its physicians respond under high pressure, officials said in a statement to KSL.com.
