ACSM Releases New Adult Exercise Guidelines

The American College of Sports Medicine released new guidelines on the recommended quality and quantity of exercise for adults, according to an organization news release.

The guidelines reflect current scientific evidence on physical activity and include recommendations about aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility. The guidelines recommend 150 minutes of moderate to intense exercise each week for most adults.
