Before joining the Crimson Tide, representing the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Dr. Rhea served as the high performance coordinator for Bloomington-based Indiana University Football.
He also served as director of sports science at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Dr. Rhea has a master’s in exercise science and physical education from Arizona State University in Tempe and a master’s in sports management from the American Public University in Charles Town, W.Va.
He also earned a doctorate in philosophy at ASU, where he focused on exercise and sport science and athletic performance enhancement.
